Blog Question-Cyber Bullying

What is your definition of cyberbullying? What are some ways that kids can be cyberbullied? Should the school be involved with consequences if students are cyberbullying each other?

Please review how I grade the answers. Post your comment to this section only.

Put them in the following order

Today's blog question is about buying new technology equipment. Every year the Technology Committee meets to decide how to spend money for the next year. I want you to think about what kinds of equipment the school should buy-it can be for any area of the school BUT it must have something to do with technology.

How to Do Good Typing Site

We already registered. Log in using your school computer ID and password.

Use the F11 key on the keyboard so you can see all the instructions without having to scroll down.

Read the directions. (We are going to do the first two lessons together.)

Note:
You can change the size of the text if you want.
Make sure CAPS LOCK is not on if you have problems.

When you get to the end of the lesson:

Enter the information on your keyboarding sheet. Then, repeat lesson if necessary or move on to the next lesson if the program tells you to.

Keep doing typing lessons until the end of class.

How to Answer a Question in Ms. Dennis's Computer Class Blog

Each question is worth 2 points.
Click on the link under the post with the blog question that says COMMENTS

In the pop-up window, type your answer
Pay attention to your spelling and word choices
Sign it with your first name and last initial ONLY

Choose anonymous as your identity
Then Click on publish comment
Make sure your mouse is on the button
You know it has gone through when you get a message that says your message has been posted.

Note-all answers will come to me first for approval for being seen on the blog

Scoring
.5 point for name correctly-first name and last initial
.5 point for at least TWO complete sentences
.5 point for 2 or fewer punctuation mistakes
.5 point for 2 or fewer spelling mistakes.

Minus .25 for using "i" instead of "I"

Directions for Saving Your Work to a Memory Stick

Step 1-Save your work in MY DOCUMENTS
Step 2-Go to File-SAVE AS
Step 3-At the top (where it says SAVE IN) change MY DOCUMENTS to removable disk or memory drive on (F) drive usually. If you can't "see" your memory stick-try clicking on "My Computer" on the left hand side of the save window. If you have problems, just save to my documents and come and see Ms. Dennis during the Middle of the Day.
Step 4-Check your file name it should include your name and something that identifies the topic (no periods or slashes!)
Step 7-Click on SAVE.
Step 8-Close your file.
